A lot of speculations around Salman Khan’s Eid 2020 release have been doing the rounds ever since Inshallah with Sanjay Leela Bhansali got shelved. While previously movies like No Entry sequel, Wanted 2, amongst others are being talked about, Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2 made the most noise. However, the filmmaker rubbished the rumours earlier, and is now given us another sad news.
After putting Eid 2020 speculations to rest, Nadiadwala has revealed that Kick 2 isn’t happening any time in next year. While Salman is busy with his choc-o-bloc schedule, the filmmaker too has his hands full with multiple movies and the worst of all is the fact that the scripting process hasn’t been completed yet. It was all revealed when Sajid got in conversation with Deccan Chronicle and revealed, “I wrote two drafts of the script, but they didn’t turn out the way we thought it would so Kick 2 is still to be scripted. I don’t want to write something that Salman won’t find worth doing. It has to be a kickass script than the first. Besides, my plate is full for the next year. I have Housefull 4 coming up, and then Baaghi 3. After that Ahaan Shetty’s debut film and the Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey.”
Are y’all as upset as us? We hope the makers come up with a final script soon and the movie goes on floor for us to witness more of Salman!
Meanwhile, the actor is currently gearing up for the release of his next, Dabangg 3, which is being directed by Prabhudheva and also stars Sonakshi Singa, Kichcha Sudeep amongst others.
Dabangg 3 is slated for a December, 2019 release.
