After 4 long years, the time is here and we finally get to witness our desi girl Priyanka Chopra in a Bollywood movie. The trailer of The Sky Is Pink has just released and with an ensemble cast also including Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim who recently quit the industry, the movie is just the light-hearted family flick we’ve been craving to witness but there’s a twist.
The trailer showcases Priyanka & Farhan as a happy couple, who’ve conceived without any planning. Cut to the married saga of the duo whose fun-loving kid, Aisha (Zaira Wasim), suffers from a lung disease and their live takes a tragic turn. The trailer with Zaira’s voice over has it all starting from love, entertainment, emotions and way beyond. Looks like the cast is all set to reach beyond the sky with his movie!
Also, we can’t help but mention the fact that Priyanka clearly has all her desi roots intact, and has nailed each of the scene.

Priyanka, whose Purple Pebble Pictures is co-producing The Sky Is Pink, took to Instagram where she shared a poster of the movie late on Wednesday.
“So happy and proud to announce that ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is the only film from Asia to have an official selection at The 44th Toronto Film Festival 2019 at the Gala! I can’t wait to be back this year in the dual role of actor and producer,” she wrote alongside the image.
The Sky Is Pink is a love story of a couple, Aditi and Niren Chaudhary, spanning 25 years, told through the lens of their spunky teenage daughter Aisha Chaudhary, who is diagnosed with a terminal illness.
