Earlier last month, we witnessed WWE’s Wrestlemania 36 and there might be mixed opinions on the overall quality of the edition but no one can deny that there were some matches that truly entertained us. And amongst those was the first-ever Boneyard match between The Undertaker and AJ Styles.
Presented in movie-like format, the match between The Undertaker and AJ Styles was pretty much like the Buried Alive match. The phenom’s return with a badass gimmick was such a pleasant surprise for the fans and his dominating victory over the phenomenal one, send out a loud and clear message that the deadman still has plenty of fuel left in him.
Apparently, AJ Styles returned on Monday Night RAW and secured a spot in Money In The Bank’s ladder match, which is altogether a different chapter of his WWE phase. But wait, it seems like AJ Styles hasn’t done with his feud with the badass yet, as per his words in the latest episode of The Bump.
AJ Styles quoted, “If there’s ever a chance to get my hands on The Undertaker, I will gladly take him out. No problem. I won’t say no problem, obviously, it’s a problem, but I’m looking forward to it.” He also questioned the boneyard match and disagreed with the fact he lost the match. He said, “There wasn’t a referee. Did I lose?” Styles said. “I don’t know. Maybe I got some dirt poured on me, but that doesn’t mean I lost.”
