The number one spot in the list of opening day collections by Kapil Sharma films is owned by his debut film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon! Directed by Abbas-Mustan, the film opened to a staggering 10.15 crore back in 2015. Even after a decade, that number remains a huge benchmark to meet unless Daadi Ki Shaadi pulls off a miracle!

Race For Number 2
For Kapil Sharma‘s upcoming film, it will be a race for the number 2 on the opening day! Currently, the #2 spot is held by Firangi, which managed an opening of 2 crore. His most recent sequel, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, fell just short of that mark with 1.85 crore.
If Daadi Ki Shaadi manages to cross the 2 crore mark on Day 1, it will officially push Firangi down and become his second-best opener. If it stays between 1.86 crore and 1.99 crore, it will settle for the #3 spot, surpassing Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2.
