The film has officially claimed the biggest debut week for any South Indian film in 2026 on Netflix; however, the numbers are not celebratory enough! When compared to other South Indian biggies that arrived on Netflix in 2026 after their theatrical windows, Pawan Kalyan has comfortably surpassed Youth and the much-hyped Akhanda 2.

The film has managed to penetrate global markets, trending in the Top 10 in 14 different countries, including India, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, UAE, Mauritius, and Nigeria.

As per the data by Netflix, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, in its debut week, garnered a viewership of 2.5 million on Netflix against 6.2 million viewing hours and secured the third spot in the globally trending list of top 10 non-English films on Netflix. The top spot is claimed by Rajkummar Rao’s Toaster.

Helmed by Hari Shankar, the film also stars Sreeleela. It has been rated 4.2 on IMDb, and the official synopsis says, “Inspired by his teacher, who named him Bhagat Singh and shaped his values, a tribal boy grows up rooted in strong morals and unwavering courage. Standing firm against injustice, he takes on evil forces despite overwhelming odds.”
