Death has always been a major part of ‘Dexter’, starting from the OG series to ‘Dexter: Resurrection’. But despite seeing so many deaths, it hasn’t always been easy for viewers to cope.

This has to be the most devastating death in the whole series, in the Season 4 finale of ‘Dexter’. After finally killing Arthur Michelle, Dexter thought he had eliminated one of the greatest threats. However, back home, he discovered Rita had been murdered by Trinity. Her body lay still in the bathtub while their infant son sat crying in the blood. And somehow, it brought back his own childhood trauma.
