Buchi Babu Sana’s Telugu sports action drama Peddi recorded a fantastic opening week. It seems like the strong pull of Ram Charan was playing its magic until the mixed word of mouth took over. Janhvi Kapoor co-starrer has witnessed a 82% drop in the second week. Scroll below for the day 15 report!

The total earnings at the Indian box office have surged to 228 crore net, including all languages. Including taxes, the gross total stands at 269.04 crore.

Can Peddi enter the safe zone?
The Telugu sports action drama is made on an estimated budget of 350 crore. In two weeks, Ram Charan’s film has recovered 65% of its total investment. The makers still need 122 crore to reach breakeven. There’s no other competition in the Telugu belt, which is a huge benefit. But the margin is huge to cover a film that has already dropped to the 2-crore mark daily.
All eyes are now on the third weekend. There’s a huge scope to showcase good growth and cover a notable margin. But only time will tell if Ram Charan magic will surprise us all over again!
