The film has progressed dauntingly in the foreign markets and is now posing a threat to the Aamir Khan starrer Talaash.
Aamir’s November release Talaash that currently rests on the 10th position of Koimoi’s Top 10 Overseas collections list with a lifetime income of $ 8.58 million overseas has a high chance of being evicted by YJHD.
The Dharma Productions’ Film has so far earned $ 7.4 million in 10 days and by the end of its lifetime collections overseas, it wouldn’t be surprise if the film changes severely the order of movies on the list.
The list, which currently has six movies of Shah Rukh Khan and two each of both Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, will see YJHD as the first Ranbir Kapoor film to make it to the list. With this escalation, R.K is not only a brand in the domestic circuit but is gradually emerging a shining star internationally as well.
Interestingly, YJHD will mark Deepika Padukone’s 2nd film after Om Shanti Om to make it to the Top 10 Highest-Grossing Bollywood Films In Overseas.
