Lootera | Making Of The Film

The making of Lootera is a video that brings its audiences behind the scenes magic from the sets of the film. Dating back to the time when the film was conceived way back in 2005, the journey has been a miraculous one for the team. Vikramaditya Motwane after finishing work on his debut film Udaan in 2010, started working on Lootera.

Weaving out a tapestry of beauty by setting it as a period film, against the canvas of Bengal’s historic beauty, the film is loosely based on O Henry’s heart wrenching short story ‘The Last Leaf’. The film’s scriptwriters have been careful in maintaining the artistic value of the story while translating it on screen.

Actors Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha claiming substantial roles, give on screen a romantic chemistry that is apparently unbeatable.
