After establishing herself as an excellent actress, the ever beautiful Juhi Chawla is back again to charm us by playing the antagonist this time. With a rather shrewd character to play in lately released Gulaab Gang, Juhi has come a long way. While we remember all the sugary sweet characters the actress has played in the past, here is one of her oldest interviews after the success of her superhit romantic film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ with Aamir Khan.
Seen with her parents, a naive Juhi expresses her journey from the Miss India contest to entering Bollywood. Denying the acting offers at first, she decided to give films a shot after several film makers approached her with offers. While her first film Sultanat (1986) bombed at the box office, the actress had already signed Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and had a ray of hope to make it big with this film.
On her experience of working with Aamir Khan, she states, “It was great since we were both new and of the same age.” While the success of this film mapped her career, the actress also mentions about the burst of fan following saying, “At least a 100 letters come everyday stating the number of times they watched the film and how much they loved it.”
