Kollywood legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan who have shared the same screen space in 12 films (9 Tamil, 2 Telugu, and 1 Hindi) during the initial stages of their career may soon team up for the 13th time after a huge gap of as many as 40years!
As per a report from Time Of India, the superstar duo who was last seen on the big screen in a full-fledged role in 1985 Hindi release Geraftaar which also featured Amitabh Bachchan may soon collab for a project helmed by Thalapathy 64 director Lokesh Kanagraj.
Both Rajini and Kamal fans can’t contain their excitement following the news about their favorite stars and two of the reigning legends of the Indian film industry coming together for a film that is being touted as the biggest Tamil film to be made so far!
However, nothing yet has been confirmed, as there’s still plenty of time left for an official confirmation from Lokesh, since the filmmaker is super busy these days filming the much anticipated Thalapathy Vijay starrer, Thalapathy 64.
Talking about Rajinikanth aka Thalaivar is all busy with promotions of his upcoming, Darbar which will release on 9th January 2020, and also with preparations of his next which has been tentatively titled Thalaivar 168, which he will kickstart this month.
Meanwhile, Ulaganayagan aka Kamal Haasan is all busy with Shankar’s action thriller Indian 2 which will release in Summer 2020.
