The award ceremonies celebrating the best in films, television and reality shows continue. The MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021, a gender-neutral award show, will be held on May 16 and May 17. While the first night will celebrate the best of the film and television world, the next day will facilitate their inaugural non-scripted category. Scroll down and check out the nomination list.
Marvel’s WandaVision leads the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021 nomination list with a total of five noms. Close on its heels are shows like Emily in Paris & The Boys with four mentions each, and Bridgerton and The Mandalorian, with three each. Talking about the films, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is at the top of the list with three nominations, while Judas and Black Messiah earned two each.
In the Unscripted categories list, RuPaul’s Drag Race tops the nominees with four noms. This show is followed by 90 Day Fiancé, Bling Empire, Legendary, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Nailed It!, Ridiculousness and The Challenge – all of which got two mentions each.

On May 17, MTV will announce and air its inaugural MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021: Unscripted. Additional details about the two shows will be announced in the coming weeks. The MTV Movie & TV Awards are a gender-neutral award show where fan votes decide the winners. Voting for MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021 is open till April 30.
