Talaash, that was a paranormal thriller made a lifetime collections of 8,580,000 USD. Being high on the suspense factor, the film’s repeat audience was low! Whereas YJHD with its fabulous candyfloss feel captured the hearts of myriads and within 3 weeks, the film has already earned 8,920,000 USD in the overseas market.
With that YJHD has ousted the collections of Talaash and has evicted the Aamir Khan starrer off the Top 10 Highest-Grossing Bollywood Films In Overseas list. Brand Aamir who is international name after being named in TIME 100 has had his film lose out to R.K.
Though Aamir’s 3 Idiots still ranks at the first position on the overseas collections, Ranbir has finally made an entry on the list and established himself as one among the established faces of Bollywood overseas!
The film is now aiming to beat the overseas record of Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 2 and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Ra.One. Collections wise the question is – Is it possible for YJHD to surpass such high starpower films?
