Yash continues his box office run at a decent pace with the period gangster drama, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film navigated its crucial first Monday with a steady collection across all languages, and the film stands at a net collection of 217.3 crore at the box office in six days.

Yash’s Next Target 92 Crore Away!

After taking a historic opening of 101.10 crore on Day 1, the film held ground through its extended opening weekend before entering weekday territory. It is now aiming for another almost 100 crore to become the 3rd highest-grossing Kannada film of all time and break another milestone

Toxic Box Office Day 6

On the sixth day, August 31, Monday, Toxic earned a net collection of 7.45 crore across India in all languages, operating with an overall 17.1% occupancy across almost 13,400 shows. The show count of the film was dropped from Sunday’s 16,200 shows!

Rishab Shetty Rules The Top 3

Yash already rules the All-Time Sandalwood chart with three films in the Top 5. However, Rishab Shetty currently holds a monopoly over the Top 3, with both Kantara: Chapter 1 and Kantara occupying two spots. To end Rishab Shetty’s monopoly and push Kantara (309.64 crore) out of the Top 3, Yash’s biggie needs 92.34 crore more in domestic net collections.

Standing strong at 217.30 crore in 6 days, Toxic is comfortably positioned to bridge the remaining 92 crore gap over the upcoming weekend. Once it passes Kantara, Yash will not only hold three of the top five spots but will officially capture two of the top three positions on Sandalwood’s highest-grossing films – history is all set to be created!
