Time and again, Shah Rukh Khan has proved that he is King Khan in a true sense. Even though he has been keeping quiet when it comes to cinemas, the actor is highly active is helping authorities to curb COVID-19 pandemic. This time, he has extended his support to corona infected patients with Remdedivir Injections.
For those who don’t know, Remdedivir injections are antiviral which helps in curbing the spread of the virus in the body. SRK through his Meer Foundation has extended help by donating 500 such injections for treating patients. The same news has been confirmed by Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
Satyendra Jain took to Twitter to thanks Shah Rukh Khan for his help. He wrote, “We are extremely thankful to Sh.@iamsrk and @MeerFoundation for donating 500 Remdesivir injections at a time when it was needed the most. we are much obliged for the support extended by you during the time of crisis.”
Replying to it, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Thank you @SatyendarJain ji for the appreciation towards @MeerFoundation. This crisis will be overcome only if we continue to maintain a united front. My team and I are available to help in the future as well. Thank you to your team for all their service.”

Meanwhile, back in April, SRK’s group companies, Kolkata Knight Riders, Red Chillies Entertainment, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX had announced several initiatives to support the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government in its COVID-19 fight.
On the work front, Shah Rukh has reportedly started his work on YRF’s Pathan. Along with him, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone will be seen in the film. The film is being helmed by War director, Siddharth Anand. If recent reports are to be believed, Mirzapur fame Shaji Chaudhary and television actor Gautam Rode have joined the project. Moreover, a source close to the film revealed that Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films are planning a grand unveiling of King Khan’s first look from the film.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, “Pathan is going to be Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest film till date, and Aditya Chopra is making sure of that. In fact, the grapevine is buzzing with reports that Adi and YRF are planning a grand unveiling of SRK’s look from Pathan on January 1, 2021.”
