Kunal Kemmu made his directorial debut with the 2024 film Madgaon Express. Two years later, Kunal Kemmu is coming with his second directorial, Vibe. Like Madgaon Express, the upcoming film also sees friends landing in unexpected situations. This time, Kunal Kemmu also plays the lead and serves as the film’s writer and director.

The upcoming trailer features Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastava as two best friends. They find themselves selected for a mission to save the nation. But are they the most suitable people for the job? They have no training and aren’t even the brightest set of people. The trailer begins with Sparsh Shrivastava describing Kunal Kemmu’s character, Hardik, as a former addict. He references Kunal’s cameo as a character in Madgaon Express, where he would make mistakes about geographical locations. Kunal’s character, Hardik, is now clean, works a corporate job, and falls in love with a girl named Kareena in the film. Interesting, right? He has also managed to rope in Sharmila Tagore, his real-life mother-in-law, for a special role in the film.
Vibe promises to be a wacky comedy, one that you can just watch and laugh. The trailer itself packs in several punchlines, largely delivered by Kunal Kemmu. Preity Zinta plays Madam H in the film, a government agent who is assigned to recruit agents for a mission to save the country. She serves as the boss to Kunal and Sparsh’s characters, and their interactions seem to be some of the funniest bits. It will be interesting to watch Preity pack some punches and kicks while also delivering one-liners. The actress will be seen in a fun role for the first time in a long time, and it is definitely one of the highlights of the upcoming film.
