For the unversed, Johnny is currently battling against The Sun. It happened after the British tabloid called him a ‘wife-beater’ in one of their articles. In the latest court proceedings, Depp confessed to beginning online petitions against Heard.
Johnny Depp has lost a lot in his professional life. Ever since the Amber Heard row came to limelight, his acting career has been dwindling. He was even removed as Jack Sparrow from the famous Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise. The actor was enraged and wanted his ex-wife to be removed from Aquaman too!

According to a report by The Sun, Johnny Depp texted his assistant on June 4, 2016. It was after their split, he texted, “I want her (Amber Heard) replaced on that WB [Warner Brothers] film.”
The actor allegedly ‘orchestrated’ an online petition for Amber to be removed from Aquaman 2. There are over 400,000 signatures on the same.
The Sun’s attorney even questioned him, “You wanted to get your own back on her.”
To this, Johnny replied, “I was feeling quite bitter. I said I wanted her replaced on the Aquaman sequel. I had been characterised globally, as The Sun put it, as a ‘wife-beater’. I went from Cinderella to Quasimodo in 0.6 seconds and I was without a voice at that point.”
This comes in as a huge shock to many who all long thought it was his fans!
