Join UsShortcut Romeo, which released this Friday, is having a disastrous run at the Box Office. After a awful opening of less than 10% occupancy across the country, the movie failed to pick up on Day 2 as well.
Shortcut Romeo is a remake of Tamil 2006 superhit grosser Thirruttu Payale which was also directed by Susi Ganesan. Bollywood box office has been very kind to South Remakes over the last few years, what with movies like Bodyguard, Rowdy Rathore, Ready and Singham entering the 100 crore club. However, the same didn’t work in the favour of Shortcut Romeo.
This Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ameesha Patel and Puja Gupta starrer was hammered by critics and audience to a great extent. With minuscule collections coming in, Shortcut Romeo will find hard to reach even a 1 crore mark in its 1st weekend. The movie is a huge disaster of the year!
