Shortcut Romeo, which released this Friday, is having a disastrous run at the Box Office. After a awful opening of less than 10% occupancy across the country, the movie failed to pick up on Day 2 as well.

Shortcut Romeo is a remake of Tamil 2006 superhit grosser Thirruttu Payale which was also directed by Susi Ganesan. Bollywood box office has been very kind to South Remakes over the last few years, what with movies like Bodyguard, Rowdy Rathore, Ready and Singham entering the 100 crore club. However, the same didn’t work in the favour of Shortcut Romeo.

This Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ameesha Patel and Puja Gupta starrer was hammered by critics and audience to a great extent. With minuscule collections coming in, Shortcut Romeo will find hard to reach even a 1 crore mark in its 1st weekend. The movie is a huge disaster of the year!

  1. Absolutely, and by the way Salman ko kisi script ya story ki jarurat bhi nhi..he is Super star of the decade.

  2. neil nitin mukesh is a classic example of how one even with talent can ruin his career by wrong choices of scripts. neil is still not a salman where scripts dont matter. neil, you are a good actor and it really pains to see ur movies doing like his. on the other hand imran khan is a classic example of how an actor with lesser talent can survive with the backing of a mastermind and big production houses taking him for lead roles. yes imran surely may become a better actor with time and more movies but no denying that he is clearly less talented than neil (i wont mention ranbir kapoor here cos he has now clearly moved to a different league).

    • I guess the only thing that would bring a twist to his career would be him playing a villain, in some very different look and badass character!! He should experiment!!
