Branded as India’s First Zom-Com, Illuminati Films’ Go Goa Gone is a crackling feat in its first half and a limp sore in the second. However, the film was well received by the audience and critics and managed to perform well at the multiplexes.
The film by the wrap up of its first two days earned a total of 8.05 crores at the domestic box office. As per early estimates, on Sunday, the film made a business of about 5.25 Crores at the Box Office, taking its opening weekend domestic total to 13.30 Crores at the Box Office.
The multiplex audiences this week are divided between three films, the other two being Gippi and Star Trek. The Star Trek series is an obvious choice for many. Gippi too is giving Goa Goa Gone a little competition because of its teenage flavor that will appeal the target audience because of the ongoing summer vacations!
Monday collections will be fateful for the film as it decides whether the venture diversifies towards success or not.
