After completing its first week run at the Domestic Box Office, the film had earned 38.50 crores, which added a super sum of 7.50 crores more over the 2nd weekend. The film’s total collections by the end of its second weekend now rests at 46 crores.

Aashiqui 2 is now the second super hit of the year after the Prabhudeva starrer dance story ABCD – Any Body Can Dance. Aashiqui 2 on its second Friday earned 2 crores approximately while on Saturday its earnings increased to 2.5 crores and finally wound up its Sunday with a 3 crore nett amount.
