When people hear the word Bollywood, the first face to pop in their heads is likely to be Shah Rukh Khan. Heralded as the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’ and ‘King Khan’, the actor has made a name for himself not only in India, but also around the world.

While his previous film Jab Harry Met Sejal bombed at the box office, the actor is all set to take the Box Office by storm with his upcoming projects. So let’s take a look at what the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’ has in store for us this year:

Shah Rukh Khan: What Can We Expect Next From The ‘King Khan’?

Zero

Touted as one of the most awaited films of 2018, Zero reunites the trio of Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma after 2012’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film will have Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of an obsessive fan once again, albeit as a dwarf. With an ensemble of A-list superstars and interesting story, this film shows a lot of promise. Only time will tell if it can deliver on it though. Zero hits the theatres on December 21, 2018.

2. Salute (Not Confirmed)

Directed by Mahesh Mathai, this film is based on the life of Air Force pilot Rakesh Sharma, who went on to become the first Indian to travel to space. The role was reportedly offered to the actor after Aamir Khan recommended him for role, since he himself was busy with his upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan. SRK is expected to start shooting for the film’s first schedule in September this year. It will definitely be interesting to see the actor bring this story to life on the big screen.

While no other projects of his have been confirmed as of yet, Shah Rukh Khan is also speculated to be starring in the Tamil hit film Vikram Vedha’s remake, opposite R. Madhavan. Also, while there were rumours last month that Don 3 might release next year, director Farhan Akhtar put them to rest. He said that there are no plans for a new installment yet, and urged people not to spread false rumours.
