Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are all set to reunite after 9 long years, virtually for a good cause. The two stars will be representing Bollywood in World Health Organization’s (WHO) live event called ‘One World: Together At Home’.
The global broadcast event is to support the true heroes of this state of crisis, which emerged because of COVID-19. It’s for the health workers who are on the frontlines to fight the coronavirus pandemic. The event is being organised by the WHO for collection of funds that would be used to tackle the virus.
The Oscar winner Lady Gaga took to twitter to address her fans about a worldwide gig called “One World: Together at Home” featuring entertainment veterans from across the globe. Apart from SRK and Priyanka, the event will include stars like Idris Elba, John Legend and others.
The event will be hosted by popular talk show hosts like Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel. It will be aired on multiple television and digital networks around the world on April 18.

Priyanka took to her Instagram and wrote, “@glblctzn and I are so excited to bring this special event to you on April 18th, One World: #TogetherAtHome, the first of its kind global broadcast event in benefit of the @WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Fund. We’ll be honoring healthcare and front line essential community workers through music and celebration at home. Together we can beat this pandemic”
Recently, SRK donated to PM-CARES Fund and also to the Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund through his film banner Red Chillies Entertainment. Priyanka on the other hand, with her singer-actor husband Nick Jonas contributed to the PM-CARES fund and multiple organizations including UNICEF and Goonj.
Last time SRK and Priyanka were seen together was in 2011’s Farhan Akhtar directorial Don 2.
