We all know that WWE has always served a platform for mixed martial artists. Be it Ronda Rousey or return of Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, the company has been keeping their doors open for MMA fighters. Now, the latest news is regarding renowned MMA fighters- Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier.
Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development for WWE, Triple H, has given signals that he and his company is interested in bringing Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier to the pro-wrestling world. He also has a role decided for Cormier, in his mind.
While talking to TMZ Sports, Triple H said that he shares a good equation with Cormier and he would love to see him in WWE as a commentator. For the unversed, Cormier is already doing the commentary job for UFC. He said, “I think he’s great, we’d love to do something with him, if the time is right, obviously in respect to UFC and Dana White. We’d love to chat with him and we have an open relationship as far as communication.”

Further, talking about McGregor, Triple H added, “I think Conor McGregor versus Vince McMahon with the billion-dollar walk on the line, I think that’s a match made in heaven (jokingly). I think the nature of what we do — even being entertainment — it lends itself to combat sports. It lends itself to people like Conor McGregor or Ronda [Rousey], as it does with Tyson Fury. It did in the past with Mike Tyson and Floyd [Mayweather]. Entertaining people are what makes those fights, a lot of times.”
