It’s been years since Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fans have been waiting for Dilip Joshi’s Jethalal to reunite with his ‘Daya’ Disha Vakani. There have been many rumours around her comeback, but none of them has been concrete enough.
Back in 2017, ‘Dayaben’ Disha Vakani took a break for her maternity leave (or at least the makers were reporting that). Since then, we haven’t seen her making any kind of appearance in the show, many of her fans still hope that she will make a comeback with her character.
In one of their past interviews with Deccan Chronicle, Disha Vakani and Dilip Joshi got candid about their chemistry on the show and what do they like/dislike about each other. Not just this, both of them also talked about their favourite scene on the show.

On their equation off-screen, Dilip Joshi had said, “We respect each other and are very professional. We have a nice equation off-screen.”
On the likes and dislikes, Dilip Ji added, “I like and dislike the fact that she never complains. Sometimes, people should complain if they are uncomfortable or have an issue with something. But she never complains!” Disha Vakani added, “I like the love that Dilip ji’s has for his family. There is nothing I dislike about him.”
Our very own Jethalal, Dilip Joshi, didn’t reveal one particular favourite scene but there was one for Disha. She had revealed, “There is a scene where I was holding a gold statue for a holy deity. I felt connected to it. I can never forget that moment.”
Well, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is incomplete without Disha Vakani’s Dayaben, and to this, even Dilip Joshi’s Jethalal will agree with us.
