Allu Arjun fans eagerly await his next release, Pushpa 2: The Rule. On April 2, the actor dropped a new poster, which added to the audience’s excitement. Over the past many years, Arjun has delivered back-to-back hits, making him one of the biggest Tollywood stars. The coming months only look promising for the talented actor.

The actor made his acting debut with the movie Gangotri in 2003, and it was a hit at the box office. In 2012, in an interview with IdleBrain, the Pushpa star talked in detail about his career and how his movies performed at the box office till then. In the interview, Allu Arjun said that his 5th film, Desa Muduru, made him a star, and the movie was a cult hit. It was also the first film in which a Telugu actor had six packs on screen.

Allu Arjun talked about how he felt low during his 11th film, Julayi, as he hadn’t had a hit for a few years. The actor said, “I didn’t have success after Parugu film. My last three were in minus. Trivikram’s last film was in minus. The Telugu film market has grown exponentially in the last 3 / 4 years. When I met Trivikram, he told me that he knows my strengths and he wanted to extract a new angle from me.”

However, when Arjun started delivering hits again, there was no turning back. However, why hasn’t he worked with other prominent Tollywood directors like SS Rajamouli and Seenu Vytla? In the same interview, Allu Arjun revealed, “I had expressed my desire to work with Rajamouli during Magadheera time. He is a kind of director who prefers actors as per the script’s demand. If any of his future films demand me, I will get an offer for sure. I loved Seenu Vytla’s Anandam, and we are in constant touch since then. There will be a film Seenu Vytla combination in near future.”

Moreover, we all know that the Baahubali director was once miffed with Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind. As per the reports, when Magadheera was released, Rajamouli was upset with Aravind for inflating the box office numbers and theatrical run of the Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal starrer. SS Rajamouli said that when he discussed with Aravind about the 100-day theatrical run, the producer told him that he did it due to fan pressure. However, Rajamouli couldn’t support the wrong calculations.

With such a controversial past, we wonder if Allu Arjun and SS Rajamouli will ever collaborate! However, one can hope they work together someday; after all, who wouldn’t want to see two talented people deliver something great on the celluloid?

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 teaser will be dropping on his birthday on April 8, 2024. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and will release in theatres on August 15, 2024.
