Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, is just 8 days away from its grand theatrical release, and the excitement is at its peak. Unfortunately, full-fledged advance bookings for day 1 have yet to open, limiting the film’s potential for advance ticket sales at the Indian box office. Nonetheless, the magnum opus is already close to entering Bollywood’s top 3 opening-day pre-sales of 2026. Keep reading for a detailed report!
While the distributor-exhibitor share issue is pretty much resolved for national cinema chains, it is still under negotiation for non-national chain theaters. As a result, the full-fledged listing of shows hasn’t happened yet. As we write, 6,126 shows have been listed for booking, and among these, the film has pulled in good numbers so far.
Ramayana grosses 11.3 crore+ through day 1 advance bookings!
Coming to the day 1 advance booking, Ramayana sold 2.08 lakh tickets (excluding blocked seats) as of 9:30 am IST. In terms of collections, it has grossed 11.35 crore at the Indian box office through opening-day pre-sales. In net collections, it equals 9.62 crore. With 8 days still to go, these numbers look good, but from here, the film must press the accelerator if it needs to score record numbers.
