Emraan Hashmi made a strong box office comeback with the recently released film Awarapan 2. The actor will lead Gunmaaster G9, which reunites him with Himesh Reshammiya’s music.
The music powered Awarapan 2 and drew large audiences to theatres. Emraan’s next film reunites him with the iconic Himesh Reshammiya. The two have worked together in films like Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Aksar, and Tera Surroor. Reshammiya’s songs for Hashmi’s films have become viral hits.
In the teaser of Gunmaaster G9, we see Emraan Hashmi as a hardcore romantic who will go to any extent to fulfil his love. The teaser opens with visuals of Emraan getting bashed by a pack of men wielding guns and other weapons. But Emraan Hashmi emerges strong after each fight, driven only by the power of his love.

The video teaser opens with a power-packed dialogue from Emraan Hashmi, as he reflects on his faith in God and his passion for love. The teaser also hints at stylish action sequences worthy of a theatrical experience.
Genelia D’Souza plays the lead heroine in the film. However, the makers do not show her face in the film; we only see glimpses of her. But Himesh Reshammiya’s music is the show-stealer here, as it plays towards the end of the teaser. This one will truly be a moment for the big screen when Emraan Hashmi’s acting, dialogue delivery, and Himesh Reshammiya’s music come together.
Gunmaaster G9 also stars Genelia D’Souza and Aparshakti Khurana. Produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut, and Sangeeta Ahir, and presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film is directed by Aditya Datt. Gunmaaster G9 also marks another collaboration between Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Himesh Reshammiya, following the musical successes Sanam Teri Kasam and Genius.
The forthcoming film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
