The Remarried Empress Cast

Shin Mina stars as Empress Navier, a poised, politically gifted ruler of the Eastern Empire whose “perfect” life begins to unravel. Ju Jihoon is Emperor Sovieshu, Navier’s husband, who falls for a runaway slave and asks for a divorce. Then we have Lee Jongsuk as Crown Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom, the man Navier turns to after her marriage collapses. This marks his TV comeback since 2022’s “Big Mouth.” Finally, Lee Seyoung stars as Rashta, the escaped slave at the center of Sovieshu’s pursuit and the catalyst for Navier’s story. The screen adaptation comes from writers Yeoh Geena and Hyun Choongyeol, with Cho Suwon directing.

The Remarried Empress Release Date

The Remarried Empress Korean drama begins with a four-episode premiere on November 4, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday through its finale on November 25. Before that, the show will be seen at the Busan International Film Festival in October, where three of its ten episodes will have their world premiere as part of the festival’s On Screen selection.
