The Batman: Not Joaquin Phoenix, THIS Talented Actor To Play Joker In Robert Pattinson Starrer?

Robert Pattinson is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming superhero film The Batman. When the film was announced, many expected that Joaquin Phoenix will be portraying the role of Joker. After the success of Joaquin’s 2019 film Joker which was directed by Todd Phillips, many hoped that they’ll get to see him again playing the Clown Prince of Crime in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Well, that’s not happening for sure.

However, DC fans, don’t be upset as there are reports that Robert Pattinson’s film will feature Joker and it will be played by the very talented Johnny Depp. As reported by We Got This Covered, the Pirates of The Caribbean star is interesting in playing the villain in The Batman.

The entertainment portal reported that Warner Bros have listed down a few names to play Joker and Depp is one of the prime candidates. For the uninitiated, Johnny Depp was being considered to play the White Knight even for the film ‘The Dark Knight’ but Christopher Nolan went with Heath Ledger. Well, we all know Heath nailed the character to the T.

Now DC fans will only have to wait until an official announcement is made about who is the Joker in the Pattinson starrer. Meanwhile, a few days ago, Matt Reeves revealed the first look of Batman’s Batmobile and fans are impressed with how classy and powerful it looks!
