When Marvel Cinematic Universe announced about She–Hulk being one of their Phase 4 projects, fans wanted to know if it will feature Hulk or not. From 2012, fans have been waiting for a standalone film on Bruce Banner’s alter ego featuring Mark Ruffalo.
So is Hulk going to feature in She-Hulk? Will there be a solo film on Ruffalo’s character? Mark Ruffalo gave interesting answers when he was asked these questions during his interaction with Variety.
The Avengers: Endgame actor was asked what’s in the store for Smart Hulk post the film. He teased by giving a strange answer, “There’s nothing completely at a place where it’s a done deal. There’s some talk of having Banner/Hulk show up in [the Disney Plus series] ‘She–Hulk.’ If we come up with something good, that would be really interesting. Right now that’s about it. That’s all there is on the table.”
But Mark Ruffalo is open to an idea of having a solo Hulk film. The actor believes that one must know what happens in Bruce Banner’s life post the incidents in The Incredible Hulk (2008). Ruffalo stated, “There’s an idea that I think could be really interesting. We’ve never really followed him into his life. He’s always kind of off on the side. He’s like the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern of the Avengers.”
He added, “It’d be interesting to fill in all the blanks about what happened to him in between all these movies.”
When Avengers: Endgame released, a lot of fans shared on social media that it’s high time there should be a standalone movie starring Mark. In Endgame, his character damages his right hand to bring back those who turned into dust in Avengers: Infinity War due to Thanos’ snap. So fans think he deserves a solo film just like Black Widow and other superheroes from MCU.
