A lot of Hollywood celebs are quite active on social media when it comes to giving political opinion. Avengers: Endgame actor Mark Ruffalo is one of them. The actor never shied away from raising his voice or calling out any politician or leader. He is also vocal about social issues and showed immense support during the Black Lives Matter movement. The Hulk has now slammed the US President Donald Trump. Read below to know what happened.

It all started when Chris Hayes asked for Donald Trump’s resignation. Last week, there has been the resurgence of COVID-19 virus in the states and Trump is ignoring it. A few days ago, the current US President gave a bizarre solution to reduce coronavirus. Donald said that if they stop testing people in the United States, they will have fewer cases. All this has angered many people including Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo.

The actor quoted Chris Hayes tweet slamming Donald Trump and asked him to resign. Mark Ruffalo’s first tweet reads, “@realDonaldTrump besides going down in history as the worst president of all time, you will also have the needless and senseless deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans on your hands because of your rank incompetence. 1/2”.

Mark Ruffalo further wrote, “Now you put your own followers at risk with your insane babbling at your racist rallies. You have lost your mind. Resign. 2/2”.

His followers agreed with him and his tweets. One person replied to Mark Ruffalo’s tweet, “You always say it PERFECTLY!!”. Another tweeted, “Thank you Mark, for saying what needs to be said, what millions of Americans are saying, but what no one in power has the guts to say. You truly are a national treasure. We love you!! #RuffaloSmash!!”

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor was last seen in the series, I Know This Much Is True. Mark Ruffalo played a double role in it. The show was well-received. The actor made his last appearance in MCU in Avengers: Endgame. Marvel has not mentioned his name in any of their Phase 4 projects. There are speculations that his character Hulk will appear in Marvel’s Disney+ series, She-Hulk.
