Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt first met on the sets of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Well, that also began the infamous tale around the actor’s divorce with Jennifer Aniston. Soon, ‘Brangelina’ was a thing, and they finally decided to get hitched in 2014. Things didn’t quite fit well, owing to which they filed for a divorce in 2016. But what was going on behind the scenes?
A year after their breakup, Angelina Jolie came forward and broke silence on everything that went wrong with Brad Pitt. The Maleficent actress shared how things turned really difficult at a time. She also shared about how the split turned out to be the ‘hardest time’ in the family. Well, to begin with, Angelina’s statement is making us sob.
In an interview with Vogue, the Salt actress opened up about it all as, “It’s just been the hardest time, and we’re just kind of coming up for air. This house (their new home in Los Feliz) is a big jump forward for us, and we’re all trying to do our best to heal our family.”

Angelina Jolie also confessed to ‘things getting difficult’ in the relationship during a certain period. However, she denied the claims of the family’s nomadic lifestyle being a factor to it.
“That was not the problem. That is and will remain one of the wonderful opportunities, we are able to give our children,” shared the beauty.
Brad Pitt and Jolie have 6 children together – Shiloh, Zahara, Knox, Pax, Maddox, and Vivienne. Asked about their reaction to the split, “They’ve been very brave. They were brave … In times they needed to be,” she cryptically added. “We’re all just healing from the events that led to the filing … They’re not healing from divorce. They’re healing from… from life, from things in life,” shared Angelina Jolie.
