The period gangster action thriller has arrived with a smashing show count of 25,654, making it one of the biggest releases ever in the country. Of these, the Hindi version alone accounts for a mind-blowing 17,346 shows. This is a crazy number for a dubbed film. In fact, it’s one of the biggest showcasings ever for a Hindi film.

Toxic fetches crazy numbers through day 1 advance bookings in India

Coming to the final day 1 advance booking update, Toxic has sold a whopping 18.48 lakh tickets (excluding blocked seats) across all languages and all formats. In terms of collections, the film has grossed a fantastic 58.27 crore at the Indian box office through opening-day pre-sales. This number is excellent for an A-rated standalone film, underlining the massive stardom Yash has built post-KGF Chapter 2.

Out of 58.27 crore, the original Kannada version has contributed 18.17 crore. The Hindi version is leading the pack with an impressive 29.02 crore. The Telugu version is 7.67 crore, followed by Tamil’s 2.64 crore. The Malayalam version closed at 79 lakh.

With 58.27 crore, Toxic has recorded the highest day 1 advance bookings for an Indian film at the Indian box office in 2026. It surpassed Dhurandhar 2 to claim the throne.
