Toxic, starring Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi, is making waves at the Indian box office in the advance booking stage. Ever since bookings opened, the momentum has been there, and today, being the last day before the grand arrival, the film is expected to switch into top gear. The show count goes past 17,000

Talking about the show count first, the period gangster action thriller has secured 17,692 shows across India, a day before its release. It’s a solid show count, and the final count is expected to rise once the screening issue in the Telugu states gets sorted out. Out of 17,692 shows, the Hindi version alone has secured an excellent 13,689 shows. Such a show count, along with blockbuster ticket pricing, is really going to help the film bag a big number on the first day.

Toxic grosses over 30 crore through day 1 advance bookings in India

Coming to the day 1 advance booking, Toxic has sold a whopping 9.07 lakh tickets (excluding blocked seats) across all languages and all formats, as of 10 am IST. The largest share has been contributed by the Hindi version, which sold 4.8 lakh tickets. In terms of collections, the film has grossed a solid 32.21 crore at the Indian box office through opening-day pre-sales. Out of this, the Hindi version alone has contributed 16.41 crore.

With 32.21 crore, Toxic has emerged as the second Indian film of 2026 to reach the 30 crore mark in day 1 advance bookings at the Indian box office, which is a huge achievement. The first film is Dhurandhar 2, which grossed a staggering 53 crore (excluding premieres). If we talk about only non-sequels, the Yash starrer is the only film to achieve the feat, which states a lot about the actor’s stardom.
