Jayasurya and Vinayakan’s latest Malayalam fantasy comedy, Titans, has started on a slow note. Upon its release, the film received mixed-to-positive reviews from audiences. Despite being lauded for its unique themes, the film did not experience substantial growth at the box office. The Malayalam film was released in theaters on October 22 and enjoyed a solo release at the box office. In Kerala, barring Jailer 2, it faces little competition.

Jayasurya and Vinayakan share the screen for the second time this year. Earlier this year, they were seen in the hit Malayalam film Aadu 3. The film, which benefits from the popularity of its franchise, grossed 100 crore worldwide. However, the duo’s popularity has failed to boost their latest film’s opening collections.

How Much Did Titans Earn At The Box Office In 2 Days?

In its first two days, the film has crossed the 1 crore mark. After opening at 65 lakh, the film saw a major dip in collections. It earned just 35 lakh on Day 2, marking a disappointing trend. This was a 46.15% drop from its opening-day collection. The film will need strong momentum over the weekend to sustain its box-office run.

Scores 92% Less Than Aadu 3

The film is far behind Jayasuriya’s blockbuster Aadu 3. The 2026 Malayalam comedy had earned 12.51 crore net in India in just two days. This puts Titans 92% behind Aadu 3 in the same period. While Jayasurya’s latest film may not match Aadu 3, it still needs strong word-of-mouth to pick up pace at the box office and finish its run with decent numbers.
