Teraa Surroor has taken a fair opening at the Box Office. Released on a controlled scale at just 1000 odd screens, the film opened around 20% mark and improved by evening and night shows. It has collected 1.79 crore on its first day.

The film is practically the solo release of the week and has the weekend all for itself. The reviews have been mixed but that was expected. What matters is the audience word of mouth and that would decide how the film performs today and tomorrow. What works in the favour of the film is the fact that the producers have already recovered costs by sales of all rights. Now it is on the distributors to make moolah and recover costs spent in acquiring theatrical rights.

Other releases of the week, Global Baba and Murari – The Mad Gentleman, expectedly didn’t see an all-India theatrical release and are Disasters.

Neerja is continuing its good run in the fourth week too and is enjoying 600+ screens for itself. It collected over 30 lacs again on Friday and has now crossed the 68 crore mark. It could well touch 70 crore by end of weekend.

Airlift has entered its eight week and has now celebrated 50 days at the Box Office. Its collections stand around the 129 crore mark.
