Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer Shaitaan is passing the test with flying colors. After a humungous first weekend, the film has maintained a strong hold during the weekdays. There were expectations that the film would open with a double-digit score. But it surpassed expectations and brought a massive 15.21 crores, entering Ajay Devgn’s top 5 openings of all time. The upcoming days were nothing less than a surprise, with an overall total of 55.13 crores from the opening weekend.

So far, Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer has added 75.78 crores to its kitty. The weekdays have maintained a tremendous hold, with collections ranging over 6 crores daily. There also isn’t any major competition at the box office, which has very well benefitted the film so far.

As per the early trends flowing in, Shaitaan has added box office collections in the range of 5.90-6.25 crores on day 7. The film has completed a week at the box office, and the equations may change with Yodha coming into the picture.
Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani led Yodha is hitting the big screens tomorrow. The genre is different since it is an action thriller, while Shaitaan is a horror flick. But there may be a certain degree of competition if the reviews turn out to be highly positive.
It is also to be noted that Shaitaan only needs to maintain its pace tomorrow. With the weekend around the corner, the bookings will highly improve. And with the current trend, a significant jump is inevitable!
So far, Shaitaan box office collection after the conclusion of day 7 will land around 81.68-82.03 crores. The film is expected to hit the 100 crore mark by the end of the second weekend, and that will be another feather added to the cap!
