Salman Khan has done it once again! His latest film, Bodyguard, which released on Eid (August 31), collected a record-breaking Rs. 20.5 – 21 crore (approximate net collections) on the opening day in India. The film also broke records in the overseas, where Salman’s popularity has been on the rise. As already reported, the film broke all records at various centers and cinemas across India. Koimoi.com had predicted such an opening for Bodyguard.

Looking at the extended weekend ahead, the film is sure to cross the Rs. 70 crore mark and could even touch Rs. 80-85 crore mark in the first weekend! This is indeed good news for Salman Khan, his fans, the producers of Bodyguard and the industry in general.
