Mardaani 2 Box Office Day 9 Early Trends: Rani Mukerji Starrer Shows A Huge Jump Again

Mardaani 2 Box Office: Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani 2 did pretty well in week 1 as it did a healthy business of 28.05 crores.

The film lost a major share of its screens in 2nd week due to the release of Dabangg 3 and Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker and hence the collections are dropped. As a result, the film could add just 1.15 crores on Second Friday which was almost 50% drop from the previous day.

But on Saturday again, the footfalls for the film shot up and it showed a big jump in the business. As per early estimates, Mardaani 2 has earned somewhere in 1.75-2.25 crores on the 9th day which is a good number. The total business of the film so far is in 31-31.50 crores range and by the end of the weekend, it will reach close to 35 crores mark.

Meanwhile, Rani recently said that the intention of making the film was to make the country aware of the new and growing threat that women face from underage criminals committing sexual crimes.

“Mardaani 2 is a reflection of society and the times that we live in. I’m happy that the film is resonating with audiences across the country because it has a very important message. Our intention was to make India aware of the new and growing threat that women and girls face from underage criminals, who are resorting to such violent crimes, ” Rani said.
