Jana Nayagan had an underwhelming start of 2.75 crore in Telugu, and after that, it continued to decline. Over its lifetime run, the film multiplied its opening-day collection by less than 3.5 times. As per the final collection update, the Telugu-dubbed version wrapped up at just 9.01 crore net at the Indian box office. It equals 10.63 crore gross.
