Ek Villain Scores Well In 1st Weekend At The Overseas Box Office

Ek Villain had an excellent opening weekend worldwide. The film starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, opened with massive responses in the domestic circuit and had a smashing opening weekend in India.

However, a similar response was recorded from the overseas circuit as well. The overseas collections for this film’s opening weekend were 13.24 crores, which is good.

Ek Villain has managed to surpass the overseas opening weekend collections of Humshakals which stood at 12.16 crores in the International arena. The film is expected to add more moolah even internationally in the weekdays, since the film’s genre is not the usual one.

Though Humshakals had a much wider release compared to Ek Villain, this Mohit Suri directorial has manged to score more on the collections board.
