Dashami, starring Gauri Ingawale, Makarand Anaspure, Mahesh Manjrekar, and others, has failed to make any impact at the Indian box office in its first week. After a slow start, it was expected to pick up the pace over the following days, but it failed to do so. Despite some rave reviews, it couldn’t attract footfall throughout the week, resulting in highly disappointing collections. With Ramayana arriving next week, the film’s fate is almost sealed. Keep reading for a detailed report of day 7!
The Marathi action crime drama received mostly positive reviews from critics. It was praised for its heavy subject matter, bold treatment, and the cast’s performances. However, despite such reviews, it couldn’t see any major turnaround at the ticket windows as it failed to generate urgency and awareness among viewers.

Turns out to be a major disappointment!
With an opening week of just 33 lakh net and hardly any shows left across Maharashtra, it’s almost done for Dashami. It’ll just hang in there for some more days until Ramayana arrives in theaters on November 5. So, the film is heading for a lifetime collection of around 50 lakh net, or even less. Although its budget is still not known, the film has emerged as a disaster at the Indian box office.
