Globally, the film collected $132.5 million in its original run. It was followed by The Odyssey, in which she played the Greek goddess Athena.

Although there was backlash against her casting as Athena in The Odyssey, it disappeared once the film was released. Zendaya’s amazing performance won over audiences, and the film has emerged as the 2nd-highest-grossing film of 2026 with a global running total of $1.458 billion.
