What is the film about?
The film follows Hig, a former civilian pilot, who lives with his dog and hardened ex-Marine Bangley in the ruins of an abandoned airfield after a devastating flu pandemic nearly wipes out humanity. While Hig spends his days flying over the desolate wilderness in search of supplies and signs of other survivors, his life takes a turn when he picks up a mysterious radio signal suggesting that human life may still exist elsewhere. Determined to find its source and the possibility of a better life, Hig embarks on a dangerous journey across an unpredictable wasteland. The Dog Stars was released on August 28.
