We’re officially in Valentine’s Week and just a few days away from celebrating the day full of love. If you and your partner are big Bollywood buffs and have yet to decide what to do on this special day, do not worry. A few Hindi movies are here to say “Main Hoon Na”. A few theatres, especially in Mumbai, have re-released several romantic dramas and romantic comedies, like Veer Zaara, Jab We Met and others.

You can celebrate the day of love by watching one or two of these movies. We have made a list of the films you can watch with your partner on the big screen (again).

Veer Zaara

The Yash Chopra directorial is cited as one of the best love stories in Hindi cinema. The cross-border love story will make you smile, cry, and smile again. It stars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Ayan Mukerji’s rom-com starring Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur is filled with many relatable moments. Watch it with your lover or friends; it will be memorable.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

The eternal love story of Raj and Simran is back to make your hearts full—the Aditya Chopra directorial stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The movie will definitely give you the courage to fight for your love.

Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1 and 2

Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy shows the tragedy of relationships, especially by victimising men. Not everything you see in movies is true, though. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Sunny Singh, Divyenndu, Sonnalli Seygall and others.

Dil Toh Pagal Hai

Another Yash Chopra directorial has made its way to theatres again. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor, it’s a love triangle filled with intense emotions, great chemistry and lots of dance. What a joy seeing Karisma and Madhuri’s dance face off on the big screen will be!

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar

Luv Ranjan’s 2023 film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor has also been re-released. If you want a breezy, cheesy, lust-filled love story, you should watch this.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

It’s strange that a movie that shows love in a bad light is released during Valentine’s Day. But once you watch it, you’ll realise that Kartik Aaryan was in love with Sunny Singh.

There is no teacher better than Shah Rukh Khan when teaching about love. In Mohabbatein, you will see how he spreads love in a world of restrictions and hate. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jugal Hansraj, Uday Chopra, Jimmy Sheirgill, Preeti Jhangiani, Kim Sharma and Shamita Shetty.

Jab We Met

If you’ve missed the train to watch this Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor movie in the past, this is your chance to make up for it. Go immerse yourself in one of Imtiaz Ali’s best directorials.
