Salman Khan’s character ‘Aman’ in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of the most-loved characters in Bollywood and will always remain. But not many know many actors have rejected the role due to the shorter screen time in the film and other reasons. However, it was Salman who decided to take up the role and make a special place in everyone’s hearts forever. Recently a video went viral where the Tiger 3 star is seen opening up about Chandrachur Singh and Saif Ali Khan rejecting the role and him eventually doing it.
The clip opens with Karan Johar telling Tiger 3 star, “I remember the first time I ever came to your zone to narrate my first film to you. Saif and Chandrachur had said no to the role. And you said that no one’s going to do your role, you come and meet me tomorrow.”
Responding to this Salman Khan explains, “It was not difficult for you to get a Shah Rukh Khan in the film but it was very difficult for you to get this casting (Aman) because Saif at that point of time was doing nothing. Chandrachur was doing nothing. Even they refused it. I did it, Karan. I saw talent, I saw genius in you. And after that you never worked with me.”

Now, a Reddit user has recently shared a screenshot of Chandrachur Singh’s alleged comment on the video while reacting to SK’s claims. He wrote, “Salman Ka Jhoot”. But when a curious fan asked “What Jhoot? Were you approached?” He replied to the user saying, “Mere pass Josh, Daag: The Fire, Kya Kehna, Silsila Pyaar Ka etc tha. I made a choice.”
However, when we dug deep to find out about the video and the comment, we couldn’t find his comment while we bring you the video below. Well, it makes us wonder if he has deleted the comment.

Meanwhile, reacting to Chandrachur Singh calling Salman Khan ‘Jhoota’, Redditors opined for their same. Comment on it a user wrote, “Deserves a beating??! Nepotism?!! Kya bakk raha hai. He was offered a role which he rejected what is he going on about. Sour grapes!”
While another said, “Salman said ” Saif and Chandrachur were doing nothing”. This doesn’t mean that they had zero movies at that time, it means that their Career graph was not that impressive at that time (kind of meh).”
A third one said, “so he admits he chose to reject the role and then says it’s nepotism? don’t even get me started on the beating smh”
Fourth one commented, “I’m genuinely soo happy that role went to Salman, even though I don’t like “Bhai”, but Aman was such a green flag role, now when I watch KKHH again I’m always yelling PICK HIM!!! Salman really brought great impact to a much smaller role, don’t think others would have done better.”
