Shah Rukh Khan & Salman Khan did something with Karan Arjun that went down in the history of two-hero films. The movie completes 25 years and it’s still remembered for the chemistry between the leads. Another such two-hero project is Ram Lakhan which starred Jackie Shroff & Anil Kapoor. The remake of the film was talked about 5 years ago which was to be made by Karan Johar & Rohit Shetty.

The remake of Ram Lakhan didn’t see the light of the day because of the issues that will arrive when two stars come on-board. Karan Johar at an event talked about the end of Ram Lakhan remake.

He said, “Two heroes will not work together. The role of Lakhan will be considered as a larger part and the character of Ram will be insecure of Lakhan”. He also added, “Either make Ram or Lakhan. You can’t make both. It’s not the age to make multi-starrer films or two-hero films.”

When Rakesh Roshan was asked for the heroes who would perfectly fit for the rules of Shah Rukh Khan & Salman Khan in Karan Arjun, he had an interesting reply. In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, he said, “Today, there are some good actors who can do these roles. Hrithik is there and even Ranbir Kapoor is there – both can do a tremendous job. Or even Hrithik and Ranveer Singh can pull it off. In fact, all actors today are good enough to play these roles.”

Fans would go crazy if any producer could pull off this casting coup if the film ever gets remade. Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan is prepping for Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 4. The movie has been in talks for years now but Papa Roshan is in no hurry to compromise with anything on the film.
