A source close to Peeping Moon reveals the same as, “Aanand L Rai already had Sara and Dhanush on board which in itself was an unusual and intriguing casting. And then, like every other Bollywood director wanting to work with Akshay today, he tentatively approached the busy superstar. Aanand need not have worried. Akshay reportedly likes the story. What perhaps also appealed to the actor was that he was a guest appearance in the film only for which, given his breathtaking schedule, he would not have to shoot for long.”

Meanwhile, Aanand L Rai will be back to direction post the Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif starrer Zero, which turned a massive disappoint at the box office. It will be interesting to see the genre that the director this time comes up with, and how it fairs amongst the audience. Another project that Rai is associated with as a producer is is Haseen Dilruba, starring Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey.

Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, is enjoying the success of Good Newwz, and will be next seen in Sooryavanshi, a Rohit Shetty directorial.
