In 2019’s Blockbuster film War, Hrithik Roshan looked no less than a dream. His fans had a pleasant experience just looking at him, but the experience to look like that wasn’t so pleasing for the actor. Recently, the actor took to Instagram to share a short film documenting his journey to fitness for Yash Raj Films’ War.
Earlier the actor has said that it was a tough job for him to get back in shape after filming Super 30. In the new video, Hrithik can be seen convincing the director and producer of War that he wasn’t physically ready for the film, Hrithik had sent them a picture which gave them pause. “This happened to me in 2012, before Krrish, and I couldn’t believe it was happening to me again, having to start from zero all over again. Same situation – slip disc, the pain, out of shape. I couldn’t believe I let myself get back here again,” he says in the video he posted on Instagram.
Hrithik also mentioned his co-star in War, Tiger Shroff. He stated – it was a blessing having Tiger Shroff as a co-star in War. “To get me back, I needed something to cause a shift, and I think Tiger came in as a blessing… My body was so out of shape. I needed it to move a certain way and it just wouldn’t. My injuries made it all the more difficult to get back, because every time I tried to do something I used to do, they would just flare-up. There were so many of them, I couldn’t really handle it. It was really, really difficult.” he says.
In the end, all this hard work was worth it. As War became Hrithik Roshan’s most successful film of his career. Recently, Hrithik Roshan’s tour to the US had got cancelled owing to the coronavirus pandemic. It will be rescheduled in the future once things go back to normal.
Meanwhile, Hrithik was one of the first Bollywood actors to come to the aid of BMC. He extended support to BMC staff working round the block to tackle the virus. To ensure the safety of the most fundamental caretakers of the city. He also provided them with N95 and FFP3 masks. On the work front, Hrithik will next be seen in Krrish 4.
