According to the latest report, a viral WhatsApp forward says that many Bollywood personalities have received an invitation from the government for an interactive meeting on Sunday, with railway minister Piyush Goyal regarding the CAA row. Below are all the details you would want to know.
According to reports, the meeting is set to happen today at the Grand Hyatt hotel in the city. As per the reports in India.com, the message read, “The idea behind the meeting is quite inclusive in approach and we request the participation of all the rational thoughts and different points of views pertaining to the Citizenship Amendment Act.”
“We strongly believe in a healthy discussion around all the possible dimensions of the issue,” it said.
In the past couple of week we have seen Bollywood being divided in two. We saw many Bollywood celebs putting forward their bold remarks against the act and the incident that took place at the Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi.
There were also peace marched across the country. The one that happened on December 19, 2019 in Mumbai saw celebs like Farhan Akhtar, Swara Bhasker and much more.
